Age Group Programs
Our Novice group invites swimmers between the ages of 6-8 to transition from a learn-to-swim program to a competitive team while keeping fun first. Our coaches focus on teaching all four strokes, introducing simple dryland exercises, and getting these swimmers ready to race. Swimmers participate in team-hosted meets, and they graduate to our 10U group.
This group introduces swimmers to competitive training techniques and dryland exercises. Our coaches focus on mastering all four strokes, fast kicking, starts and streamline, flip turns, and basic to intermediate drill sets. Swimmers build a foundation of having fun first while working hard at every practice, growing self-esteem, and learning good sportsmanship.
Our 11-12 group learns how to set daily practice goals by applying attitude, effort, and focus at every workout in order to achieve times in all USA Swimming events. Our coaches challenge swimmers to understand and apply all aspects of the NCA Value Wheel by balancing school and pool work, teaching them the tools needed to become successful student-athletes who know how to work hard and have fun.
These swimmers are well-versed in the NCA Value Wheel and work hard at every practice to improve on training intervals, build endurance, and develop strong leadership skills in an effort to achieve Junior Olympic, Zone, and Sectional times. Many of these swimmers move into our Senior Program and swim at the high school level.

Senior
Level Programs
This group maintains competitive levels of endurance and fitness while enjoying the flexibility to participate in other extracurricular activities. By demonstrating a commitment to attitude, effort, and focus in self, group, and team goals, these swimmers contribute to our Senior Program by becoming leaders who push themselves to accomplish workout and performance goals.
Our Senior swimmers show consistency and commitment to being exemplary student-athletes and team leaders with demonstrated successes both at the pool and in school. Our coaches challenge them to achieve CA/NV Sectional Times Standards, pushing them both in the water and through individualized dryland programs. These swimmers contribute to the greater team through support of our age-group program, mentoring younger teammates at team building events and clinics throughout the season.
This group of swimmers focuses at the highest level of competitive swimming and works to achieve CA/NV Sectional Time Standards and Winter Junior National Time Standards while preparing to become successful, collegiate student-athletes. Swimmers who achieve Junior National Time Standards benefit from financial support for outfitting and expanded training opportunities both locally and at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. These swimmers contribute to the greater team through support of our age-group program, mentoring younger teammates at team building events and clinics throughout the season.
