Office Hours: Helping Swimmers Master Technique

Office Hours: Helping Swimmers Master Technique

What are Saturday Office Hours? An opportunity for your swimmer to get a 20-minute private lesson with up to 3 other swimmers to master a specific technique skill requested by your swimmer’s lead coach.

How can my swimmer attend Office Hours? Office Hours are on an invite-only basis. If your swimmer’s lead coach sees a technique skill they can’t quite grasp during practice time, the lead coach will request your swimmer to attend and you will receive an email with your Office Hours invitation.

Where and When are Office Hours hosted? Office Hours are hosted twice a month on Saturday mornings from 8:00 – 10:00am at the JCC and Alga Norte. Your swimmer will be assigned a 20-minute time slot within that 2-hour window (8:00 – 8:20am, etc.).

Why should my swimmer attend Office Hours? During practice, there are so many swimmers and only a few coaches on deck to provide feedback on technique skill. This individual time to coach your swimmer on a skill that will improve their performance at an upcoming meet is truly a great opportunity. Additionally, there is no fee for your swimmer to attend as this is supported by the annual registration budget.
